Former president, Goodluck Jonathan has paid a visit to the home of the late Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki in Sokoto, to condone with his family on the loss of the former Sultan of Sokoto. Former president, Goodluck Jonathan pays the Dasuki family a condolence visit.
The former Sultan who is also the father to former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki, died on Monday, November 14, evening at the National Hospital in Abuja.
Jonathan’s visit to the Dasuki’s on Thursday, November 17, is sequel to the condolence message he sent the family via a Facebook post where he described the former Sultan as a bridge builder and father figure who was ever committed to fostering unity in Nigeria.
Goodluck Jonathan was welcomed as a hero when he visited Sokoto, the seat of the caliphate. See photos below:
